Timed the M3's 0-60 for the first time today, can't say I'm disappointed with the results at all.
That's 8 seconds faster than the fastest time I ever recorded the the Safari. To say I'm happy is an understatement. I'd imagine some fresh plugs and air filter would help even further. Me being afraid of spinning the tires probably reduced the time as well.
I might still get smoked by a V6 Camry, but still not bad for a "neutered" version of a sports sedan from 1998. Not bad at all.

Not bad for an almost 17 year old car. New plugs and AF may help a bit, not sure though.

I think you have me beat. Not sure though, my factory time is listed as 6.5

I think I read someone it was said that 6 seconds flat was the manufacturer's estimate. Considering that's A) probably for a manual model and B) For a car that doesn't have 167,000 miles on it, I'd call my 6.38 good.

Mine feels fast once you get going, but I'd wager its over 7.

That's how the Vue was, felt fast once you get going, but took over 7 seconds to get to 60.

You'd still beat a Range Rover Evqoue by a small margin

Got me beat by 0.2 seconds.
